Full coverage is available in certain counties

  1. If you are pregnant. Individual policies will not offer coverage generally.
    We suggest that you try to enroll in your employer's  company group plan.
    Florida has guarantee issue policies available in group.
    Check with your employer  to determine eligability and open enrollment schedule.
  2. Be proactive prior to your planning of  insurance and maternity.
    Please call us, we can discuss some great policies that can be applied for.
  3. Save ,Save, Save. Babies need insurance too ! So be ready !
  4. Have a plan with Unlimited Doctor visits for the baby and mother. Especially the first year!
    Healthy Florida has many to quote.
  5. Check to see if there is a hospital plan for maternity in your area.
    Many have great maternity programs. For a list of Hospitals in your area.

  6. Short Term Disability- Receive 60% of your pay for 6 to 8 weeks after the baby is born.
  7. Hospital indemnity policies- Pay up to $1000 per day, for 5 days cash  directly to you.
    Maternity can be covered. Ask your Healthy Florida consultant about
    Genworth policies.
    Maternity policies are generally an
    addition (extra cost) to your base policy.
