Before you fill out quote forms from other "quote" web sites, consider the following......
Please be aware that there are many "Health Insurance" web sites on the internet that do NOT sell Health Insurance. They sell data (leads). They generally are NOT licensed Health Insurance agencies/brokers. Their business is not illegal. Many are legitimate well respected businesses. They appear to be Health Agencies/Brokers because they provide quotes. Because they can quote does not mean they are Licensed agents or brokers.
In our opinion they should disclose to people who fill out their forms that they will SELL the information they have collected. In our research we have found that some do and many do not. We have found in our research that they do not use the word "sell". They use phrases such as ; "competitive quotes from 5 agencies". Translation; at least 5 agents will call you. Do you really want this to happen? Generally, your information from the form you filled out for a quote is sold to 7-20 different companies and agents for various reasons. These then could be resold again and again. This could be for a multitude of products.

Clues to help you find out.
- Check links; about us, contact us (no phone #), privacy statement, agents (this sells agents).
- Check or ask for their Insurance License number with Florida Department of Financial Services. Not the multitude of agents that buy their lists.You can look them up.
